[TS] Yan of Aren

[Quiet] He doesn't speak more than he has too, and tends to keep his opinions to himself and avoid talkative deerlings. It's not like he hates talking, he simply prefers silence over noise. He also can be friends with loud and talkative deelings, just most conversations will be very one sided. It was once rumored he was a mute, but that isn't true.

[Peaceful] Yan will avoid conflict and arguments as much as possible as they scare and upset him. He has gotten into fights before but most of them are short and end with him shutting up and leaving to avoid further conflict. Don't yell at him, or try and pick a fight- you won't get anywhere.

[Calm] Though it may seem like he is worked up easily, it actually takes quite a lot to upset him or anger him and even if he is then he will not show it or at least try not to. Upsetting him is not worth the effort usually as it will be a quiet, controlled upset that is not a very rewarding reaction.

[Stoic] "A person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining." Yell, hit, blame, do as you may he will most likely accept it quietly- one of the main reasons he is a Deltan not a Deltain. He was simply born like this, with little knowledge as to why and no will to change it. Yan believes it is better and easier to stay how he is rather than change it as he believes that will only cause trouble.

[Push Over] For his impressive size Yan is a ridiculous push over. A simple pouty face, or bat of the eyes, and he'll probably cave and help or do what you asked out of kindness. He feels that if you do good deeds and things for others then good things will be blessed to you, and that good feeling will be passed throughout all of the Aren herd. But he is less of a push over when it comes to violent or cruel acts, and convincing him then will take a whole lot longer.

[Clumsy] Yan is a ridiculous size so he has a hard time keeping track of where his limbs are ending up, and trips quite often in deer and deerling form, and can never seem to find his footing when it comes to moving fast. So, as it is, he lumbers more than graceful bounding and sprinting. His size comes from the strong lineage of Red Deer in him, one of the largest deer species.

Likes: The quiet, rain, music, cold food, warm weather, water

Dislikes: Parties, loud noises, being yelled at, people making fun of his height, high up places

[Fawn]  His fawnhood was not horrible and he sees it as a rather good one. When he was born to one of the largest bucks and one of the largest does, it was no surprise that he too was quick to grow bigger than his other fawn friends- the few he managed to make. Yan has little knowledge of what happened before he was born, the loss of his Mother's first mate, and never knew exactly why his half-brother Ajacopa disliked him. At this stage he kept mostly to his deer form and didn't change much due to the fact he was afraid of what he would look like, knowing that deerling form was usually bigger than deer form. His older brother would constantly remind him of this, so he avoided that topic as much as possible. So now and then he'd change in private, and change back before anyone saw. This continued until his Beta days.

[Beta] Due to the fact that he was simply so big, he thought he would end up as a Deltain Beta. Sure enough, he did but it didn't stay that way for long- his lack of grace, kind nature, and refusal of aggression made him unsuited for the position and so he was switched to the role of Deltan Beta. He found it odd that his brother was also cast as that when he was sure he'd be become a Deltain. Needless to say, he didn't really mind, and enjoyed being with the gentler does, who for the most part seemed rather accepting. The encouraged him and made him comfortable with being in deerling form, a tough thing with Copa still picking on him, which turned out to only be a few inches taller than his deer form. Yan enjoyed the lessons taught to become a Deltan and ignores any teasing of him being a male Deltan. In this stage of his life he became more relaxed but also more of a pushover, especially for his brother.

[Deltan] He's happy with his job and it's peaceful nature, and has no real complaints. Yan enjoys getting to see lots of the other deers inside the herd when he does go out, but never regrets not working harder to be a Deltain. Copa and him get along much better now, and he enjoys their time together. He is still a big pushover, doing pretty much everything his brother says.
